Olive oil Tasting

Last month, I went to an olive oil tasting party held by the Japan Olive Oil Sommelier Association. I tasted 5 types of olive oil, and learned how to express their qualities.
There are 3 criteria for the judging of olive oil. The criteria are as follows:
(1) Visual – the degree of clarity, thickness, and color.
(2) Olfactory – the strength and quality of the scent or aroma.
(3) Taste – the body and flavor.
